Replacing Element headphone Rotary Encoder Pot.

Hi, We have an Element master module where we need to replace the Headphone encoder. We have a spare encoder from the spares kit. My question is this: how are we supposed to remove the existing encoder from the module? Do you need to remove the whole PCB, or is there some way to just get the encoder...

iProfiler time not changing with Daylight Saving

When the PC that's running iProfiler changes its time for Daylight Saving, iProfiler ignores it. The work around is to change the time zone/country of the PC.
Running latest version.

Does anyone have an answer to fix this?

Thanks
Stephen

RE: Dalet

We're using the Axia IP drivers with Dalet but we're still running 5.1e, I think it sounds like you're running Dalet Plus. They do run well with Dalet. The only weird issue seems to be a misalignment when in Multitrack mode between the display and what you hear on a fade envelope, though we rarely u...

Thanks Milos, I take your point. Maybe it could be offered as an extra box like the X8 and iPort boxes, of course if it is cost effective for Axia to do that. I bought an Airtools 6100 (unfortunately before the 25/7 was available), it does an OK job in the ramp up area, not as good as my old Eventid...

With the DSP power in the Engine, would it be possible for Axia to use it as a built in 7sec delay?

Thanks Milos for the update.

We have the external preview on constantly, it has our Dalet Playout system preview channel feeding it. This is used for checking mix/crossfade points. Saves on tieing up a desk fader.

Has anyone found the same issue with the post processing trim?

Thanks
Stephen

I don't know if anyone else has found an issue with this version of software? I have an issue with the "Post-processing trim gain" option. When it is set in the channel profile to "Retain source setting" and you have Compressor Active for that source, it throws up on the Alpha Numeric Display "Devic...

Hi Bob

Broadcast Bionics have a software only version of PhoneBox designed to run on SIP PBX.
I know of a station running a Cisco SIP phone system with PhoneBox software only solution running on top of it.

Hi The Issue with the External Preview jumper having to be un-plugged and re-plugged when a Profile is re-loaded doesn't seem to be fixed in Version 2.0 of the Element software? The GPIO port needs to be re-initialized. Lastly, as Nick reported, there was a problem with the initialization. This shou...

Thanks Michael, Well you confirmed everything that I have done. It is working now. What I found is that you can't have that source in a channel list at the same time as wanting it to appear as the External Input. Once it was only available to monitor section it works :-) BTW Have you had any issues ...

Hi, I've been trying to do this with the Preview/Cue playback of our DAW system. As originally described, It is there if you Preview on a channel and it is assigned in the External Preview setup of the Monitor Section. Have also wired GPIO. Do you just Grnd Pin 13 to Pin 8 OR Link Pin 9 and 10, Link...

Thanks Andrew

That was what I thought I'd have to do, thanks for confirming that. (It stops me from going insane! :D )

Have you had any response from Axia about the "start" and "delay" indicators?

Thanks again
Stephen
